    LCMH Welcomes New Pediatrician Dr. Saachi Nangia

    Lawrence County, July 30, 2024 — Lawrence County Memorial Hospital (LCMH) is thrilled to announce the addition of Dr. Saachi Nangia to its esteemed medical team. Dr. Nangia, a highly qualified pediatrician with a deep passion for children’s health, will be bringing her expertise and dedication to our community.

    Dr. Nangia, originally from Maryland, has a distinguished academic and professional background that underscores her commitment to providing exceptional care. She completed her undergraduate studies in public health and biology at Johns Hopkins University, where she laid a solid foundation for her future medical career. Following her undergraduate education, Dr. Nangia earned her medical degree from the University of Maryland, further honing her skills and knowledge.

    Her pediatric residency was completed in Florida, where she gained extensive experience in the field of child healthcare. Dr. Nangia’s approach to medicine is characterized by a commitment to compassionate care and evidence-based practices, ensuring that her patients receive the highest standard of medical attention.

    The arrival of Dr. Nangia marks a significant milestone for Lawrence County, as it has been 28 years since the community last had a dedicated pediatrician. This long-awaited addition comes as a much-needed service for local families, enhancing access to specialized pediatric care and addressing a critical gap in healthcare services for children in the area.
