    LCMH Welcomes New Chief Nursing Officer Vicki Potts

    Lawrence County, Il August 5, 2024 — Lawrence County Memorial Hospital (LCMH) is proud to announce the appointment of Vicki Potts, MSN, RN, CEN as the new Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), effective August 20. With a robust 36-year career in nursing, including extensive leadership experience, Vicki is set to bring her expertise and dedication to our community.

    Vicki Potts holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing from the University of Southern Indiana. Her career has been marked by a profound commitment to patient care, safety, and quality improvement. As a certified Emergency Nurse, Vicki has a diverse clinical background encompassing Emergency Department care, Trauma Services, Critical Care, Pediatrics, Medical and Surgical care, and
    quality/compliance initiatives.

    In addition to her professional accomplishments, Vicki is deeply rooted in family life. She has been married for 36 years and is the proud mother of three married children. Vicki and her husband are excitedly anticipating the arrival of their seventh grandchild in November. In her leisure time, she enjoys gardening, landscaping, and outdoor activities.
